Review - "The Caribou Hotel is located in a small community with scenic surroundings and close to many historical sites and tourist attractions with restaurants and grocery shopping close by. I have been staying at the Caribou for the past eleven years for business trips and have found the hotel to be clean, quiet and served by a caring, dedicated staff. The helpful, friendly staff at the Caribou deserves a five star rating and has made my stays less like business and more like visiting family. The internet access is fast and makes communication for business and personal use another plus. I highly recommend the Caribou if you are planning a trip to this area."

Review - "Most Alaska RV parks are barren parking lots. Bear Paw had an "adults only" campground with trees right on Prince William Sound. There was a very clean laundry room with four private lavs with showers and unlimited hot water. "

As a life long Alaskan who has spent time in about every hotel/motel in the area I select the Valdez B&B over all the other places to stay in Valdez. I go back to 1952. Over the last decade or so I have had nothing but positive experiences with this B&B. The reason I am familiar with places to stay in Valdez is because it is one of two closest supply areas for me during the summer season which I spend in the Wrangell Mountains. In case you doubt my creditability, at least as far as connections with this enterprise go, I know nothing about the owners other than to have met the old boy who owns the joint on a number of my visits."
